Job Description

Job Purpose:

To ensure a world class level of project management that reflects the position of the event as the world’s pre-eminent exhibition and conference. Lead the Project Management for the special events & round tables which is an integral part of our client’s flagship event: Leadership Roundtables programme

 The Job:

  • Responsible for developing, managing and delivering the Leadership Roundtables
  • Work with the marketing lead to develop annual marketing strategy to raise profile and increase attendees for the events Leadership Roundtables year-on-year.
  • Work with the marketing lead to develop a marketing and communication strategy for the special events year-on-year
  • Invite and manage the high profile members attendance
  • Main contact for members communication
  • Responsible for attendee numbers for conferences & Leadership Roundtables
  • Manage the project budget
  • Negotiate with suppliers
  • Work closely with Director of Marketing and the event marketing team to align the strategy and messaging with the event
  • Produce valuable and engaging content that attracts and converts our target groups
  • Work with the marketing team and oversees the creative development and write the content of all promotional materials, website, advertisements, and other marketing-related requirements
  • Measure, analyse and report on the performance of marketing campaigns, gain insight and assess against goals.
  • Work closely with the head of sponsorship to develop a range of branding, thought leadership and sponsorship opportunities for the special events and leadership roundtables
  • Work closely with the marketing and data build team to identify relevant c-suite executives who should be part of the leadership round tables environment

Experience:

  • At least 5 years year’s demonstrable experience at management level in project management and marketing and communication
  • Events experience is a must
  • Detailed knowledge of marketing and communications
  • Experience of dealing with and managing high-profile key stakeholder relations
  • Metrics-driven with strong ownership and focus
  • Knowledge of mid to large scale B2B exhibitions and conferences
  • Understanding of GDPR & data protection
  • Experience of auditing existing procedures and introducing new procedures
  • Appreciation of international cultures/foreign language
  • Ability to network and liaise with senior people/trade bodies and associations
  • Anticipation of market trends and proactive market involvement
  • Degree educated
  • Empathetic Manager – Build, coach and mentor peers to ensure they have the correct skill sets to fulfil their role to the high standards
  • Detailed understanding of event marketing
  • Communication – excellent written English and verbal communication skills, report writing, copywriting and presentation skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines
