Job Description

The HR Manager ensures that the HR function adds value and provides functional support in all areas including talent management/development, organisational planning, compensation & reward, recruitment, employment legislation and HR best practice.

The Role:

  • Support Managers, providing HR counsel on business issues
  • Provide reports, management information, HR data and statistics from the areas of accountability to the senior management team on a timely basis
  • Maintain, implement and communicate company policy and procedure, ensuring adherence
  • Raise concerns if identified with application of company policy and procedure
  • Advise managers on employee-related issues, ensuring fair and equitable treatment of employees and minimising company liability
  • Ensure compliance with the Data Protection Act
  • Provide first line advice to the company’s operational management on employment law issues and giving guidance on the application of employment law and company HR policies
  • Ensure employee consultation is conducted as required, providing support to line managers where necessary
  • Support all aspects of resourcing for the business, in accordance with company policy, from identification of requirements to selection and induction of the selected candidate
