Technical Manager / Head of Power

Our client is a global events services company. They are expanding their headcount and looking for a Technical Manager/Head of Power to join the team.

The Head of Power is a specialised professional responsible for enhancing the technological standards and capabilities of the department through research and market studies. Key functions include understanding the company's position in the market, evaluating inventory and technology advancements, managing manpower, setting performance standards, providing technical advice, and optimising resource scheduling for project profitability. They also oversee training programs, team performance, and recruitment and ensure health and safety standards compliance. The role aims to maximise departmental potential while fostering a culture of safety and continuous improvement.

 Requirements:-

• Extensive experience in event production and power discipline

• Demonstrated leadership and management skills

• Strong technical expertise in power equipment

• Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Word and Excel

• Effective planning, organisational, and financial comprehension

• Market awareness and technology proficiency

• Fluent in written and spoken English
