Engineer - Lighting

Our client is a global events services company. They are expanding their headcount and looking for a Lighting Engineer to join the team.

The Engineer specialises in their chosen discipline, providing high-quality technological solutions to meet business needs. They collaborate closely with team members, offering specialist advice to management. They are responsible for setting up and operating medium-scale lighting systems for live events, ensuring client satisfaction. They often act as team leaders for onsite departmental teams.

Also, plays a crucial role in advancing the company's technical capabilities. They collaborate with colleagues to assess departmental needs and stay updated on technological advancements. Responsible for training Technicians and Crew, they ensure equipment proficiency on and off-site. With expertise in lighting equipment and industry trends, they maintain high standards. Leading by example, they prioritise client interactions and manage shows and projects effectively. They also support the Head of Department in scheduling and equipment planning. Diligently maintaining equipment and adhering to safety protocols contribute to overall departmental effectiveness.

Requirements:-

• 5 years of Technical experience in Lighting.

• Advanced knowledge of all lighting equipment and ability to provide technical advice.

• Ability to read and understand technical plans.

• Proven leadership qualities with experience in managing teams and running shows.

• Strong problem-solving and fault-finding skills.

• Assists in job scheduling with the Head of Department.

• Competent in using MS Office (Word and Excel).

• Good written and spoken English.
